It was a long day ....but...it was very productive. A group of Sisters, cooks, and volunteers canned 164 quarts of tomato sauce and 10 gallons of tomato juice. The crew started early in the morning and we squeezed 8 bushels of Roma tomatoes to make the delicious sauce and juice. This was all canned and put up in our stock room for the long winter that will come within the next 2 months. I big thank you to all who helped make this day such fun.....
